1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of Snorkel, a software synthesizer plugin developed and sold by Snorkel Audio, Inh. Michael Kaisser, Dunckerstr. 25, 10437 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us"). By purchasing or downloading Snorkel you agree to these terms.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Snorkel on your own computers. You may install the plugin on up to three machines that you own and use personally. You may not sell, sublicense, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your license to another person.
3. Demo Version
A free demo version of Snorkel is available for evaluation purposes. The demo may include functional limitations (such as periodic audio interruptions or export restrictions). You may use the demo indefinitely for personal evaluation. All other terms in this agreement apply to the demo version as well.
4. Payment & Delivery
Purchases are processed by our third-party payment and distribution partner. When you complete a purchase you will receive a license key and download link by e-mail. All prices are shown in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders already placed.
5. Refund Policy
Snorkel is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, and all sales are final. We offer a free demo before buying, however once purchased, we do not offer refunds. If you experience a technical issue that prevents the software from functioning as described, please contact us at hello@snorkelaudio.com and we will do our best to resolve it.
6. Intellectual Property
Snorkel and all related materials (code, graphics, audio, documentation) remain the intellectual property of Snorkel Audio. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the software. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Limitation of Liability
Snorkel is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available at snorkelaudio.com/terms. Continued use of the software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
