Michael Kaisser

Michael is the founder of Snorkel Audio, a Berlin-based company building innovative music technology for producers, composers, sound designers and anyone else who enjoys making electronic music. He started Snorkel Audio in 2025 to develop digital musical instruments that invite creative exploration: software that makes music creation feel playful and fun and that rewards curiosity while still going deep and allowing the result to be yours.

Before founding Snorkel Audio, Michael spent fifteen years in Artificial Intelligence, specifically at the intersection of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He holds a PhD in AI from the University of Edinburgh and worked as a researcher and product manager at companies including Microsoft and Nuance Communications. He also founded txtData, a text analytics company built on NLP and ML technologies. To this day, Michael advises companies on AI strategy and shipping AI products that users love.
